Security lighting for outdoor areas around Covent Garden homes
There are many places to consider security lighting around your home:
- Entry doors
- Garage doors
- Along walkways
- Along driveways
- Under eaves
- Under windows
- Under decking
- Within landscaping
An even blanket of light around your Covent Garden outdoor areas will eliminate dark zones where potential intruders could can hide.
Brighter isn’t necessarily better - left on all night, glaring lights could annoy neighbours, dazzle visitors, and consume more electricity. The artificial equivalent of a bright full moon (40-60 W) is sufficient to discourage a burglar.
For increased safety at entries, however, and for any security lights that you don’t want left on all night, higher wattage automated fixtures are recommended. Be safe, not sorry!
